PHOENIX, February 18, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) elected two new members, Marc Laret and Therese Ward-Maupinto its board of directors.

At Marc Laret his deep knowledge of medical delivery operations stems from his four decades of experience leading, building and growing leading healthcare networks. He has just retired from University of California San Francisco Health, where he was president and chief executive officer for 21 years. He is a nationally recognized health industry board member and advisor.

Therese Ward-Maupin has over 20 years of experience in the digital, mobile and telecommunications industries. She is currently Senior Vice President of Digital and Customer Experience at Comcast Corporation. His experience in digital consumption will help personalize and streamline BCBSAZ’s digital customer experience.
